Upcoming Event: February 4, 2025 – Breakfast Meeting

Please join us for the next breakfast meeting of the Delaware County Attorney/CPA Forum on Wednesday,  February 4th at DiFabio’s Market and Tap in Media, PA.  

We are pleased to have Andrew Brenner, CPA and  Jonathan Sokoloff, Esq. returning to present  “Taxaholics Anonymous- Issues for 2026 Tax Filing Season .”  This is one last chance for us to discuss current tax events and tax filing issues as we enter the filing season.

Registration and breakfast start at 7:30 am and the presentation will begin by 8 am.

Our remaining meetings for the Spring will take place on May 6th and June 3rd.

Past Event Info: Please join us for our next breakfast meeting of the Delaware County Attorney/CPA Forum held on Wednesday,  January 7th   at DiFabio’s Market and Tap in Media, PA.  

We welcome Laura Solomon, Esq., of Laura Solomon and Associates,  who will be speaking to us on issues affecting Public Charities, Private Foundations and Donor Advised Funds.   Laura will cover the Trump administration’s policy changes impacting Charities and Foundations, the One Big Beautiful Bill and Private Foundation interest in program related investments and “tipping” concerns.

Registration starts at 7:30am. Please come early for registration and to connect with fellow members.  

The Breakfast Buffet will be available upon arrival .

We welcome back Jay Brower of CBIZ, Inc. who will be presenting the annual “State and Local Tax Update.” This is a very informative and important session for practitioners.

Our meeting for Delaware County Attorney/ CPA Forum was on Wednesday, November 5th at DiFabio’s Market and Tap in Media, PA.  

Our discussion leader will be Robert A. (Bob) Burke, Partner, MacElree Harvey, Ltd  who will be addressing Updates in Estate Planning for 2025.

Bob will share important issues for 2025 and beyond, including ethical concerns that every professional should be aware of.

The registration form is attached.  Attendees will be eligible to receive 1 continuing education credit hour.

Our next meeting of the Delaware County Attorney/ CPA Forum will be held on Wednesday, October 1st at DiFabio’s Market and Tap in Media, PA.   

Our speaker will be Jay Brower, Managing Director in the National Office of CBIZ, Inc. who will be speaking on the One Big Beautiful Act.    

This is a great time to hear about the bill in planning for 2025 and 2026.
